Hi
My name is Mark and I am new to chickens (except for food
) but I am happy that I decided to try raising them. I have 4 australorps. 3 hens and a rooster. They are about 6 six weeks old now.
I should have joined his forum before I started because from looking around there is a lot in here to help me out.
Instead I found a BYO coop video on the web and built that. It is adequate so far but I am not happy with it. It is this one:

I have some pictures of my birds here:

They were so cute when we got them that my daughter and my wife took over their care.
I guess I have to do more posts to create an avatar etc. that's cool.
I have already started plans for partitioning my shed and using part of it as my next coop. I will put the nests inside and put an enclosed run oustide that is big enough to walk into.
regards
mark
