Hi everyone, I've been checking this website out for awhile now and decided to join to gain more knowledge about these wonderful birds.
A little background, our kids have been raising chickens for a couple of years for 4-H. I have been having a blast helping and doing alittle research. They have raised meat birds and RIRs and have had alot of fun and success doing it. We even stared hatching some of our own. Our 1st batch only had about a 50% hatch rate (I think it was my fault), and the second batch is in the incubator with a hatch date of April 1st.
I look forward to gaining even more knowledge from this site.
