Guys,

I am new in this site & I hope that this site will be able to help us with our endeavor.

Guys we had just started a backyard broiler farming, we started with 100 heads. Now i saw lots of things that is not there or i cannot find if ever i could, i dont trust the quality of our equipments in my country.

I have jumped into a plan of "self sustainability" in the future, meaning i will be breeding layers, sell eggs, grow chicks and sell meat.

Now am looking at "home made incubators" technically speaking? am "dummy" i am an accountant but i see potential in this business.

So guys, please help me. to start with "step by step of making incubators".

Thanks and more power to this website!

Thank you Nifty Chicken! Nifty,

I have a question since you already welcomed me. I went through your post (forum posts)! and man this site rocks!

I am looking for an answer on "does the layers (ie., Hubbard) requires mating to lay eggs? or there is other way to let them lay eggs without passing through those rituals?
