Hey there! I decided to finally join this site. I end up here so much that I figure I should just go for it. The community seems great.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Not new to chickens; have been learning about them for a few years and have raised a few
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
No chickens of my own right now, looking for a nearby breeder/hatchery though!
(3) What breeds do you have?
I've personally raised buff orp and americauna and have helped family with other breeds.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
It's honestly a very popular site, all over the web!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I raise rabbits and love spending time with the dogs. Can't wait for spring to get back to the dog park. I do love some computer games, reading, writing, blogging, and learning about sustainable living.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Home is where the heart is. I've been building a beautiful family with way too many pets probably. Too many, but always the perfect amount. (and looking to add a feathery friend) Ask me about my pets and I could probably talk your ear off.
