My name is Jim, my wife is Kathy, we live in York, ME and have 22 yo twin sons. I am retired. We have 6 ladies, 19 weeks old. No roostah. I got my first egg at 17 weeks, only one laying so far. I built my own coop and run from plans purchased from My Pet Chicken (Garden Coop) and then doubled the size. The run is 95 sq ft. And the hen house is 16 sq ft with 3 external nesting boxes. The construction is basically done with trim work and winterizing to finish it 100%. Really like your forum and pleased to be a member.
