In the Brooder
Greetings and Hello from Texas!
My family and I have a little farm in the East Texas Piney Woods region and will be starting up our first official flock this year. I grew up around chickens as a youngster, but as many know, being raised around an animal as a child is much different than actively caring for them. I have plenty of experience with other farm animals, so I am trying to take a bit of time right now to familiarize myself with their general care requirements before we go head-first into this little project.
I am currently mocking up the plans for the Coop/Run, so you may see me over in the Coop & Run and/or DIY sections later!
