My question to the group would be will chickens ( I am going to start giving mine raw and cooked veggies and treats) eat too much grit and get themselves plugged up in some sort of fashion.
In my area of Delaware I can get what they call #10 gravel or what others call stone dust. I stopped by and got a sample today and compared it to Granite Grit I bought from TSC and it is remarkably in the same size range. I can get a 4X4 trailer full, washed, for $18.
