Grit

I found some grit specifically ground for baby chicks. I put some on a plate (what seemed like alot, thinking it would last a couple days) and I was totally wrong....they scarfed it all. Can they...uh...overdose? on grit????

Well how old are they? They shouldnt be given grit before 5 days at the least... They cant distinguish between grit and food before then...

OK then they should be fine... That just means that they were in desperate need of some =] But just in case keep an eye on them the next few days
