Any tractor or small coop could be used as a grow-out pen.

There are a great number of photos on the coop pages, to help inspire you.

I used my tractor as a grow-out. The tractor is only 4x10, but for a grow-out I happily stuffed 25 chicks in there.

I know someone else that used a small shelter, almost like a tent with no floor, and a wimpy portable fence so that she could easily keep moving them around her yard. She had a dog to keep the predators away.

    Yep.

Fancy or fast and trashy, they all can be made to work.

I've literally used 5 T-posts and 4 foot tall chicken wire when I was desperate. One post for each corner, the 5th to anchor a gate. It wasn't much, but I also have dogs to deter predators and just needed to contain young birds until they were big enough to go in with the main flock.

I've also used that orange plastic fencing like construction sites use--just have to be sure the chicks are big enough they don't fit through the holes!
