Growth on chickens face

Hi all! First post! Thank you for all your insight from this website!

I noticed a growth on one of my girls today. I feel like it grew quickly. She appears super healthy and eating fine. I squeezed and small blood dripped and maybe puss. Husband and I got out hot water with rag to soak and hydrogen peroxide. Pressed on it for awhile and only blood came out. Any thoughts?? Thank you!

Sorry about your chicken. It looks like a tumor to me, but I am not a vet. I would watch it or try to see a vet. Tumors can be common in chickens.

Likely a tumour - it would have to be biopsies to tell if it was cancer (malignant) or an aggressive but harmless (benign) growth.
