Growth on leg

My Plymouth Rock has got a big growth on her leg. It’s hard and she is limping. Any ideas what it may be and what I can do for her? thanks

How long has it been there? Have you tried soaking her in warm Epsom salts water to see if it softens or comes off? If it is an injury, it might heal with treatment. It is possible that it is a skn cancer, but hard to know without a vet. Melanoma or squamous cell carcinoma could look like that.

it does kinda look like a skin cancer doesn't it...
