Growth or Tumor?

I noticed my Barred Rock rooster hobbling around on his left leg for the past couple of weeks. This morning after letting them out to free range, I noticed that he was laying down a lot. This is unlike him because he is always running around and very active. I walked out to see if there was something wrong with him. When he got up to limp off I noticed there was something dangling from his upper left leg or hock area. It was two growths or tumors about the size of a quarter dangling beneath his feathers. They seem to be solid and not full of fluid. Can anyone identify the growths in the pictures? Is there any treatment for these? Can I cauterize them? Thanks for any info anyone can give me.

Hi, Sorry I don't know from looking at them, good pictures by the way, but they do look nasty. If they are cancer, they would probably have a good blood supply going to them so you would have to be careful in cutting them off. I am assuming they are hanging by a 'stem'. They came up pretty fast from the sounds of it. I hope someone who is a vet sees these pictures and can help you. Good luck.
