Grubs from a dead woodchuck?

    Well my hens found a dead decomposed woodchuck and have been going crazy at all the little grubs under it. Is this ok?

    I would guess they are maggots...
    But that is what chickens do, they eat bugs. I say let the girls go at it. Every one of those little things they snap up is one less fly in your house!

    i wouldn't worry about the eggs though.
