I received 4 turkeys today. I got 12 baby chickens with them. They are supposed to be all cockerels, but I'm hoping they messed up and threw in a pullet or two. Anyone care to make a guess what these little buggers are. They are defiantly smaller than the chicks I got back in March. Reddish golden little peeps.....really cute.

I agree. They look like our Rhode Islands did when we first got them. But the striped ones I'm not sure about. Maybe Silver Laced Wyandottes?

The striped ones are broad brested bronze turkeys. They others are chicks that got sent as "packing peanuts" for the turkeys. I also was thinking RIR, but wanted other opinions. thanks.

Yes it was Ideal. They are only an hour away from my house. So it looks like RIR huh? Abd it sounds like they are good at sexing....bummer. Well they are on a high protien diet with the turkeys, I guess the could make ok freezer birds.
