Have 7 chicks, all hatched October 29 except for one that arrived the next morning. The first 4 are local generic farm eggs from a friend. The final 3 are BBS Ameraucanas from a BYC auction.

Would love your help in determining the gender on these 4+ week old chicks.

I'm leaning toward the first three as cockerels, the last a pullet, so far.

    Cockerel
Pullet? (maybe, not sure but leaning towards girl)
    Cockerel
    Pullet

Those are my guesses, but I would wait for someone more experienced.

Thanks, ChooksChick, that was my best guess also. The uploads are soooo slow. Will be back asap!

  5. The only one that screams cockeral to me is #1.
I second the last one being a pullet.

The local chicks - 1, 2 & 3 look to be cockerels. The fourth is female.

all the other ones look like pullets to me.. Most definitely the last one for sure. Look at that eye makeup! [IMG]
