Guess this MUTT!!! (pic heavy)

She's going to be big, my mixed shepard/labx huskey was just over 8 weeks and he was 6 lbs and healthy!

I think he is going to be big! He is supposed to be a guard-type dog. He's already got a "big boy" bark! It is adorable! He's supposed to also be an outside dog, but he's so cute, he is sleeping inside.

DH informed me that was not part of the deal, but he won't kick him out, either!

I'm hoping for at least 40-50 pounds, but I'm thinking he might be bigger.

I think you should put him in a flat rate box and send him here

He resembles these breeds to me:

English Bull Terrier
Scottish Terrier
French Bulldog
Cairn Terrier

That being said, he may well be none of them. I've seen it time and again when you know for certain a mixed breed's heritage and they look like neither, and can often look like an actual breed. In many cases a shelter may have them listed as a 'Pharoah Hound mix', but how many Pharoah Hounds do you see roaming the neighbourhood?

He might also be a mix of mixes. I have a Lab mix whose father is an enigma. She looks like a Flat Coated Retriever but I know for a fact she isn't. Also, since puppies in the same litter can have different fathers the others don't give you a whole lot to go on. Equally, since they are mixes they inherit different characteristics; they don't breed 'true'. My Labradork was the only long haired dog in the litter, the others resembled Lab/Danes. They were black and white, very long legged and short coated. She is solid black and has a coat like a Golden Retriever.

Oh gosh he is cute!! And that is for sure a SCHNAUZER face!! I have a pure bred schnauzer and a mix (we dont know with what) schnauzer. Almost looks like a lab/schnauzer? Well those are my guesses.

Too FUNNY!!! When I brought him home, my neighbors thought he was either a baby goat or a pot belly pig! LOL! He does have the hair of a pot belly! LOL! Except it is a little bit softer. I am also guessing on the age...he's still got puppy breath, and hasn't lost any teeth, yet. Not even any loose ones. I've had him about 2-3 weeks, and they thought he was about 2-3 months old.

I am guessing he is now about 10-11 weeks. He has grown a LOT in the time that we've had him. He's about the same size as our neighbor's rottie/shepherd mix they got the same day. They are growing at about the same rate, except that he is leaner and leggier.

I'm wondering if there was giant schnauzer or something like that? Even if he was 3 months old, he'd be too big for a regular schnauzer.

You can tell the age accurately by the bottom front teeth. If he has adult ones he is over 17 weeks. They typically come in at 17 weeks in dogs, so if he still has puppy teeth there now you'll know when he reaches that age.
