It's big and white and oval shaped and this is in the waterfowl forum....
A sebbie egg????????????
My guess duck egg
Yep, a sebbie egg, by the time I found it, it was frozen to the ground. But, I found another one today.
I dug one of the nest boxes out of the snow, which took about 1/2 hour in the freezing cold this morning. And someone laid one in there. I put it in my egg basket with all the ameraucana eggs I collected this evening........
it fell out and cracked.
It was fertile though, I found the bullseye. My husband ate it for dinner.
Oh no, your poor egg! But at least you DH could enjoy it. Now what do I win, some eggs?
I've got a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.....
Hhmm, now where did I put that???
I was all ready to fire up the incubator. I think I will start it in the morning just in case I get another.
I've always wanted to be poked in the eye with a sharp stick! How lucky am I?
Yep, you better fire up the incubator!
It's a really long stick so when you least expect it, I'll make sure you get your reward. It's better when you don't know it's coming.
Maybe I'll target practice on these eyeballs:
