    Chincillas!! A pair of the most beautiful chincillas ever! They are sooo soft. I don't think they like me though!!

    they aren't snuggly creatures by nature.
    offer them a raisin once in awhile and i bet their attitude improves greatly!

    They are so cute. We raised Chinchillas many years ago. We loved them and let them run around the house -- with supervision (they like to munch on electrical cords so you have to protect them from those) on some days.

    With correct, gentle handling they can become quite tame but they really aren't the snuggly type of animal.

    I'm guessing you have dust available for them to roll in? We found that using a large, gallon size glass tea jug (laid on it's side) worked really great to keep the dust from getting out into the house so much and they like climbing in there to enjoy a bath.
