Bigfoot is actually an easter egger - nothing wrong with that! It's just commonly confused because the hatcheries label them incorrectly.
Bigfoot is a pullet, as she has distinctive pullet color/pattern. Because she is an EE rather than a purebred Ameraucana, there is a chance she will lay pink, green or even brown eggs rather than blue.
I don't know about your australorp. Nothing looking rooish at this point. Where did you get them? Were they sexed?
They were unsexed when I got them from a local breeder.
Hopefully Bigfoot will lay any other colour but brown or white eggs. The egg colour was the reason my daughter chose this bird.
I was thinking that these 2 were pullets. Now to figure out the Houdans !
