Guinea Bantams? what the heck?

simple question, are there such things as bantam guineas? last poultry sale i was at i saw 2 trios of guineas, each of they no bigger than a sebright. i asked the seller how old they were and they said a year. i own guineas and never have seen a year old guinea so small. can anyone explain? i'm stumped...

maybe he didn't feed them right as chicks? wouldn't that affect size?
