Guinea Eyelashes

Has anyone else noticed that guineas have very beautiful long eyelashes?

They almost look like the ones drawn on cartoon girls.

Great, now I'll have to get mine to let me near them so I can see.

Anyone else's guineas molting right now? Mine all look like they were attacked by wolves!!

Mine are just starting to get ugly. The chick down is falling off their heads and they're getting those white wattle looking things. Fun times...

I haven't noticed their eyelashes though. I'll look tomorrow.

Once they lose their baby fluff they really do go through the uglies. The adults do have their own kind of pretty. I agree with the eye lashes. Maybe it's to make up for the lack of feathering on their heads and necks.
