The lady we get our farm fresh eggs from (until mine decide to lay) has only laying hens (golden comets) and no rooster. The eggs though have been fertilized. Is it possible her male guineas are doing the deed???

yes it is possible that species can cross with chickens but alot of times they r sterile. so it's either the guineas or she has a roo and doesn't know it,lol. check feathersite.com and u can see pics of some guinea crosses.

so if they were sterile would you still see the bullseye? Several of these eggs have definate bullseyes.

yes, the egg can be fertile but the babies from these eggs would be sterile
