So who knew guineas could swim? One swam 70 yards across my pond to escape a dog. It didn't appreciate our rescue, or being wrapped in a towel or being dried off either. All other 9 had gotten back in the coop without any further encouragement.

He's my brother in laws dog, so he's always around. Other than this issue, he's a decent enough dog. Poor guineas just have to stay penned til I can cover the run.

What a cute story glade it made it across safely

I have a batch of guineas that imprinted with the baby geese they were raised with, when the geese found the pond the guineas went in also.
