Hello Good People,

I'm sure this question has been asked a million times. What do some of you all do in the winter to keep your guineas warm through the winter? Thanks in advance.

I'm curious of this also since this is our first winter with guineas. I've heard as long as the wind is off them and they have shelter, they will be fine. They say they are a tough bird. We have just a long roosting box built on a dog kennel and we plan on putting tarps around it to keep wind and snow out.

Thanks for sharing. I have mine in a chicken coop, I think they'll be ok. The coop sits behind my pole barn and protected by the wind.

Best of luck with yours as well.

Hello all we live in maine and the guineas seem to be strong birds In the cold as long as they are dry and out of the wind. We kept 24 last year and all did well ,they have hatched three broods this summer with many colors so we have sold a few and will be enjoying 30 or so this winter great fun to watch the keets grow and far less issues than our chickens .good luck to all
