My dad arrived at Logan Airport on Saturday morning for his annual visit to his parents. He took the shuttle to the rental cars, struggling with his luggage. As he stepped off the shuttle van, his new - and obviously slightly too big - jeans fell to his ankles. All he could do was to put down his luggage and pick up his pants.

The first thing my mom asked him, once she stopped laughing, was if he'd been wearing his "good" underwear, or the "Sunday hole-y" ones. His fellow passengers are lucky that he took his mother's advice and was wearing the presentable ones.

I'm still chuckling about this, and hoping that the people around him are able to get therapy.

That would have been sooo funny (sorry dad!). I would have been mortified, hope your dad doesn't have nightmares over his little incident. [IMG]

    Ha ha, that sounds familiar.

The fashion for urban boys is baggy pants, the bigger and droopier, the better. Unfortunately, this means the pants fall down a lot more often than they should. We have a rule at school for pants at the waist, but at sports games and after school, I've seen kids running, tripping and falling flat on their faces because their pants fell and tripped them up. Yes, I laugh (and so does EVERYONE else).

How ridiculous is it when the pants are SO loose that you have to use one hand to hold them up while one is walking? I don't care what other people wear so much (as long as its not pornographic or clearly vulgar), but the baggy, sagging pants style just strikes me as impractical. [IMG]
