Hey there,

I just registered to this forum and I will introduce me shortly now. Together with a friend I run a garden with vegetables, herbs, fruits and some ornamental plants. Previous year we got another patch on which a fruit cage was build. So it is a kind of a little orchard surrounded with fences to prevent birds coming in and eat the fruits. Also it gives the ability to keep chickens. That of course is what we did. We started with four hens and added a rooster a few weeks later. This year I also incubated Indian runner duck eggs, and two hatched. You can see their first weeks in this video:

We both are students, of course in bio-related sciences ;) We live in the Netherlands, what may declare if not all my sentences sound natural. If you want to know something about us, feel free to ask.

Thanks for the video!

I've never raised ducks, but Runners look like some of the most appealing (although they're all adorable when little). Hope you're enjoying the poultry and farming.

Thanks for joining us and best wishes!
