Gympy just won't give up

I should have culled Gympy in the very beginning, I just didn't have the heart to. He is still a part of our lives today, but it has not been easy for this little button quail.

MY "Gympy" went splay-legged in the 1st month that I had the last batch of chicks. I decided that ALL my roosters would be on our dinner table, so his fate had ALREADY been decided. Still, he figured out how to get around and get enough to eat despite his handicap. He had a good life when I butchered my Roos last week. DH and I decided that he would be the first to go, so as not to frighten him, since he was definitely the bottom of our pecking order.
I certainly respect your decision to keep yours, since he enrichens your life.
