My 24 week old black Ameraucana, Gypsy, Charlotte's daughter, just laid her first pretty blue egg!
Ooh! Very pretty!!!
*sigh* if only there were a blue americana roo around to fertilize that little egg. too late now i suppose...
Cool! I can't wait for my next round of "first eggs". Hopefully I'll have a blue one. (2 Easter Eggers)
beefy, dont speak too soon. My blue Ameraucana pullet may be a late blooming cockerel. Comb is flat, but very wide and turning pinky at 8 weeks old. Uh, oh.
Gorgeous egg! I cannot wait for my eggs this fall! And I have an ee girl!!!!
WOW beautiful color ! Oh I hope she is a pullet or pretty enough to make you think twice about starting an ameraucana project again

Pretty. Hopefully I will get some blue eggs by fall unless my 3 EE's are boys I wouldn't mind one roo but I don't want them all 3 to be.
