My dear sweet hubby had gotten up with the kids to get them ready for the bus and was letting me sleep in. Usually I get up due to all the activity anyway, but this morning, after hearing what sounded like one of my brooder babies choking on something, I jumped out of bed to check on them.

Pretty sure (after seeing repeated attempts) that my Fabio is crowing!! Today he is exacly 7 weeks old. I kinda figured he would be the first one, as he's always been kinda flock leader. He's my favorite. (Although I hope he gets better at it, that sounded AWFUL!) [IMG]

He's also the brave little poppet in my avatar. Always first to investigate everything!

It is awesome when they 1st crow. Don't worry they sound sick when they start. Then they get great at it. Congratulations. [IMG]
