Anyone know if you can still order chicks from the Halbach's in Wisconsin? I got the best chickens from them six or seven years ago, but I dont remember how I got the order form.

Quote:Halbach's discontinued operations some years ago. Vi (Mrs.) recently died. The years are wearing on Harry. Son Jeff and his daughter Lindsay carry on with the LF White Rocks that the family has bred since the 1800s. Jeff has several breeds of bantams all of exquisite quality. He sellls few if any of those. Jeff is currently the ABA president. Son Pat dispersed the waterfowl a couple of years ago.

Thats too bad. I heard she died in January. I must have gotten my chicks one of the last years then. It was early 2005. I got breeds of every class to show and they were great. My parents sold them all when I went to college though. Any idea if any other breeders bought their stock?
