Half the chicks hatched early, poop on incubator

Good morning.

I have a dozen fertile eggs in an incubator, 5 of then hatched early (4-2 days). Due to some challenges and hungry chicks, I moved them to a brooder. The incubator smells bad due to the older chicks poop. Should I clean out the incubator before the rest of the eggs hatch? I have seen peck cracks in the shells of the other eggs.

Take a warm damp cloth and put the unhatched eggs inside it while you clean the incubator. I have done this with success.
