    Which ones do you like?

    For me

    Evil Dead 1 & 2
    Army of Darkness
Night of the Demons 2 (don't bother with the first--2nd one has a battle nun!)
    Nosferatu--the original!
    Bram Stoker's Dracula
    Dracula (1931)
    Dracula, Dead & Loving It!
    Nightmare Before Christmas
    Sleepy Hollow
    Ed Wood
    May Shelley's Frankenstein
    Simpsons Treehouse of Horror episodes

and ... (proving the Michiganiac that I am) the ultimate tribute to Devil's Night and the Motor City

    The Crow

I am a big fan of the classics.
    The Omen
    Children of the Corn
    Pet Cemetery
    Halloween (of course)

I am trying to get my DW to watch Chidren of the Corn but I am afraid that she will never want to go to Amish Country again....

    Bram Stoker's Dracula
    Nightmare Before Christmas
    Sleepy Hollow
    The Crow
    Hocus Pocus
    Pet Cemetery

.. pretty much any Stephan King, though of course, the books are better.

Grudge is good and creepy... The Haunting in CT was icky... Addams Family Anything...

I always liked Freddy more than Michael... 1 2 Freddy's coming for you... that was cooly creepy.

Ohhh who saw People Under The Stairs?

Quote:Forgot about the Addams Family and Addams Family Values (didn't like that other one with Daryl Hannah and Tim Curry)

AND People Under the Stairs--freaky movie (also takes place in Detroit!)

An American Werewolf in London- Alternately both scary and funny. Pretty good special effects too, when you consider it was made before computer animation!

The Others- Nicely done in the "classic" style. No gore, it owes it's scariness to being a well written psychological thriller. Very Eerie!

    Poltergeist- A fun horror romp!

Alien- Well written Sci fi horror with great effects!

The Shining- Hauntingly creepy! Jack Nicholson rocked in this role. And those two girls in the hallway? [IMG]

Nightmare on Elm Street- Interesting for the creative dream sequences.

The Silence of the Lambs- Anthony Hopkins a Hannibal Lector... A cannibal Psychologist... wonderful!
Hannibal Lecter: Why do you think he removes their skins, Agent Starling?
    [sarcastically]
Hannibal Lecter: Enthrall me with your acumen.
Clarice Starling: It excites him. Most serial killers keep some sort of trophies from their victims.
    Hannibal Lecter: I didn't.
Clarice Starling: No. No, you ate yours.
