I built an incubator back in July , it worked pretty well but then I got a bargain on a model 1200 ( old - old ) and it is better than my homemade one ,, So I am tearing down the old (new) homemade one and cloning the 1200 except that I'm going to use fixed shelving with LG turners . Using metal closet shelving with drawer side slides so they will roll out to fill /empty and for air flow . and 2 drawers at the bottom for hatching .
