i would seriously separate them for now-until she's fully healed. if you are using them as breeders-keep their cages next to eachother so they can see eachother. Also only put him in for a 24 hr period for mating and then remove. Check her eggs for fertility to make sure he did what he should have done for the 24 hour period. She will remain fertile for up to 3 weeks. But once a week I would put him in for 24 hours to make sure fertility stays strong.
