We got our first egg out of our batch of Easter eggers we got at Thanksgiving!

SMALL aqua greeny-blue (camera not working)..banty-sized egg from a full-grown chicken....BUT they laid it in the nest box, AND there are two more nests dug out in the nesting box! dug out...just no eggs in those two yet.

    Happy Easter from the flock!

    Thank-you!!

In addition to this Easter surprise, my brooder is filling up four days early!!

My faverolle X EE chicks decided it was time, as well as my pure cayuga ducklings and some pekin/rouen/cayuga ducks, too!

    HAPPY EASTER!
