Hi I'm Vicki and new to the group, I have 4 ex battery hens I rescued in October 2015. I have read some really helpful info on this sight and have already pulled my sickest rescue girl ( weezer) from deaths door.
I would like to say thanks to all who leave info for us novices to follow

My little Edna has just left us after 48 hr battle with being egg bound. Bathed and removal of egg just too weak

Hi Vicki, very nice to meet you. Glad Weezer pulled through. Sorry you lost Edna. I think her background as an ex-bat hen set her up for problems later in life.
