Thought I say happy groundhogs day or woodchuck. I don't have any real interesting stories on our friend the woodchuck other than the fact I caught one eating through a hole of a bag of scratch I bought for Denise's chickens. She didn't put in the old freezer where she usually puts her feed. Well I surprised him but he just waddled over to his hole he dug through the barn floor and one of the crazy mille fleur bantam hens had to go investigate the hole by sticking her head down there! The woodchuck is a pest but he is so darn cute!

I have not heard yet whether the ground hog saw his shadow or not. Which was it?

Quote:Only the northern groundhog (the one in PA) did. Our southern groundhog (Beauregard Lee resides in GA) didn't! No more winter for us! And the forsythia bush has a few blooms on it, so that confirms it! [IMG] [IMG]

Of course, I haven't seen a wooly worm to check it's forecast.
