    Hello,
I'm very happy to have found this site! We are researching and doing our homework, as this next spring we will be welcoming new hens and chicks to our family. I've already gotten many awesome ideas for coops, feeders, and the best breeds for our area, we live in the High Rockies of Beautiful Colorado. We can't wait to have fresh eggs! On a side note, I've been collecting those feed bags that everyone is making those totes out of and have made 6 or so. I love them! I get so many complements on them and they sure are tough and can handle quite a load! I'm now on the hunt for more, would love to get some from other parts of the country that are not available here!

Welcome to BYC! I am interested in making those totes out of feed bags too, however I'm hopeless with a sewing machine lol.

Greetings from Texas! Best wishes in the process of adding some chicks to your family. I like your idea of recycling feedbags into tote bags.

[IMG] when you have 20 posts you can participate in the buy/sell/trade forum. There is a section for "everything else for sale." Maybe you could mention a trade of your brand of bag(s) for some from other parts of the country.
