    I hope i'm making my question clear?.. i tend to not word things correctly a lot..

    Oh yeah, sorry. We didn't have Pilgrims and such but it is to give thanks for the harvests, etc. (Often people on the prairies are finished harvesting by Thanksgiving - depending on the weather, of course)
