So, uh, you will be selling hatching eggs in the spring, right?

I love the barred hen with the muffs. I must have some!!!!!

I'm on my last hatch of the season, but next year, well next year I will hatch as many chicks as I can, LOL, and would love to have a few of these...

I had 6 or 7 of these "accidents" from Dipsy and they were so cool looking! I kept a blue cuckoo pullet and two cuckoo pullets. Unfortunately a dog got the blue cuckoo (it was so pretty) and one of the cukoo pullets. I still have the other one and she is pretty. Will try to get a picture of her posted!

The slowest feathering one of those "boys" is getting some really good barring in. It's my only smooth one too. You seem to have the knack for barring - even in a pen where the roo only has some barring on his hackle feathers. Those are some very pretty hens and beautiful chicks!

  8. Hi!
If they lay green eggs, I'll call them 'Blue Cuckoo Green-Eggers' --- they are a project in the works from an accident.
ParkerVA (that's sad to hear), and anyone else, I apologize again. I'd never send mixed eggs as pure if I thought there was remote chance they were mixed.

I'm happy to be making lemonaide from these lemons.

Did any of your cockerels from your accidental BR/AM cross feather out with a few wild looking feathers?

I do believe that I also may have received a few of these. I sold them as I thought they were barred rocks...with problems.. Glad to know what had really happened and wish I could go back and keep those birds....Nice project Lisa!
