Hard boiled eggs. How old must they be?? Nevermind,

Hey Guys, I found some threads below which gave really great info. So my problem is solved.

I've got a great pickled eggs recipe but I'm having trouble figuring out how old the eggs must be to hard boil them and have the shells come off easily. I've waited up to two weeks and that doesn't seem to do it. They still stick to the shell.

I notice with store bought eggs the shells always come right off.

Thank you Moderator! I found the threads after I posted this and my problem is solved! I already tried it and it worked like a charm!

I now have hard boiled eggs I CAN peel!

For quail eggs I usually refrigerate them for at least 2 weeks. Chicken eggs don't need to be that old, maybe 1 week.
