My husband and I want to use hardware cloth and we went to Lowe's and found it to be very expensive but the cheaper things don't seem safe. Do any of you know where hardware cloth can be obtained at a a good price?

Not sure if you have a Southern States Supply or even Tractor Supply Company near by, but our best price was from one of them, Lowes did not carry the large rolls and the larger(length) usually the cheaper, but sometimes you can find them on Craig's list you might get an entire roll or half, but they sell pretty cheap their too. Good Luck!

The last I bought(1yr ago) was 104.99 for 1/2"x1/2"__48"x100' at Southern States. Agri-Supply was a few dollars cheaper, but they were sold out.

Agri-Supply can usually beat any other place's price. They get stuff in pretty regularly, so if they are out and you can wait (maybe they can tell you how long before another shipment comes in, too) it's well worth your while.

I got a fantastic bargain a year or so ago, through Amazon. I got 24 in by 100 ft., 1/2 inch, 19 guage, for $80 something...free shipping. I would have preferred the 36 inch, but am happy enough with the 24.
They still show it on their website.
