I have started to harness train two baby emus I got a few weeks ago. They love going for walks, and I have taken them to lots of diferent places. I am useing a step-in small dog harness, and it works well. I should get some pics up soon! Has any one ever tried to do this with baby emus? I am even thinking about trianing them to pull a cart....[IMG]

I trained mine with the same type of harness as chicks.............. so helpful when adults.

This week I am getting an 2 1/2 month emu that is well imprinted on people. Will I be able to teach her to walk with a harness? What kind should I try?

You can, it will just be a little harder. I use the step in type dog harness that clips between the shoulder blades.. Jeffers Pet has them for like $5 I think.

I use a rabbit harness too. I'd like to see pics of the dog harness, and how you put them into it (ie, where the straps go).
