Cute pictures are my number one tip. I cut up a cardboard box To act as a sort of "light box" shape without the actual light, lol. I use tissue paper as a backdrop (it's cheap and disposable if they poo on it). Everyone always asks how I get them to pose, that's all I do.

Other than cute pictures, you can also try craigslist, or check to see if there is a livestock sale close to you.

There is nothing cuter than a chick. Or Duckling! These guys just got put in this box, with a bath towel under them, when they came out of the incubator. They are less than 24 hours old here, that is when they are the cutest! Try to not have any poop in the photo!

Update, of the 17 eggs set, 11 hatched. At least 5 will be boys. I am hoping for 6 girls!! Chicken math/duck math, you have to add, then subtract. Drakes are very tasty!

It seems to change but it's always easier to sell pure breeds over backyard mixes. Egg colors are often a big motivator. Marans, Ameraucanas, Silkies also sell well, and usually English Orpingtons.
