Quote:I put 10 eggs under her - she's a big girl could have had alot more - I put 6 bantam eggs and 4 standards....
she broke or someone else broke 2 bantam eggs, and one was clear and I removed it, there were 2 clear standard eggs and one with a blood ring.
(I don't want a ton of babies anyway)

Well, today was day 21, I heard peeping very early this morning and finally this afternoon saw a baby - the speckled sussex (I posted a pic here somewhere - LOL) I've not gone digging under her to see what else she's hiding... I'm hoping for at least a couple more babies...

I didn't do anything with the eggs, other than un-wrap em [IMG] I let them rest for a few hours and then gave em to mom....
She'd been broody and sitting for a week already, so I was in a bit of a rush to get them under her.

[IMG] I was so surprised when one actually hatched! That was my first experience shipping eggs and I was so worried about it. I am glad your chick hatched Wildsky! [IMG]
