my dog had it two years ago and I was wondering how many other dogs lived thrue it.

I have a pit mix that came from the SPCA with it. He is fine now thanks to a very open minded vet and some alternative therapy.

when we where teens we had 2 pups with distemper both got blood transfusions 1 died 1 lived

We had 2 dogs get it years ago and both died. If it is caught soon you can treat it with a good outcome.

There is not usually a good outcome with distemper. It is expensive to treat with no promise of recovery. The disease can stay in the soil for several years so all dogs should be vaccinated.
