Has anybody ever seen this !!!

The foot on one of my hens has this on it. has anybody ever seen this ?? she is walking good on it, moves it ok. no mobility problems.

I would guess that's evidence of a very bad case of scaly mites. It needs treatment. Use a miticide, then coat the legs with vaseline or RedCote a couple of times a week afterward.

Do a search for Scaly Leg Mites.. You need to separate her and any others that may be showing signs and treat them!

Scaley Leg mites. Treat with rounds of Vaseline. This is a pic of my roo's mites: (All treated now)

that was only after 2 treatments of vasaline! It was a miracle how they cleared up!
