Has anyone bought Wyandottes from Hoover's Hatchery?

I am having to replace a bunch of birds. I bought several from the Flea Market an hour from my house. I have still not found a bunch of Golden Laced Wyandottes. I will still try the flea market on the weekends and Craigslist because I love my Golden Laced Wyandottes but I am thinking about ordering some from Hoover's Hatchery and want to get an opinion. The ones that I had before mostly came from a hatchery and some were plain looking and some were beautiful and could be show birds. Has anyone ever bought Hooover's GL Wyandottes and can you tell me if they were pretty or plain looking?

I have ordered birds from Hoover's and McMurray and have had great success from both. McMurray's sold me Wyandotte pullets, 2 silver laced and 2 golden. They came in the mail. It was so cool. I have also purchased chicks and all lived and I have no complaints at all.

I got silver laced and blue laced golds last years. The silvers were tiny, scrawny birds. The blue laced gold i kept is a big, stunning bird

I you just want some nice layers, they would probably be fine. But looking at the picture they use, they are far from quality birds. They look nothing like that a wyandotte is SUPPOSED to look like.

 

[My Very First 6 Chickens]

I purchased 6 GLW from TSC in CT. I was informed they came from Hoovers Hachery. My gals are beautiful but unfortunately because i was a new chicken owner, i am uncertain if Hoovers does vaccines? I would like to call them, but having a tough time. Can anyone tell me what ages chickens are normally vaccinated at? Lady at TSC said they were probably not vaccinated because they arrived at TSC at 3 days old.
