Has anyone ever gone fox hunting

Do people eat the meat? I'm not asking to be a smart butt, I just never heard any one ever say they ate the meat! My DH deer hunts. He sees a lot of fox, while he is hunting the deer.
The fox attack a lot of chickens and ducks around here! We might have to help thin the population around here some day!

At the risk of being flamed alive, yes, I have been fox hunting and so have my children.

Here in Ireland a days hunting is a fantastic experience, horse ridding over miles of countryside usually not open to you, plenty of good whisky and great craic.

To be honest it is all about the chase, most weeks the fox outsmarts the dogs and no one minds at all.

I have not done the proper fox hunting with the whole english get up. But I have worked hounds over foxes in a western saddle

Its amazing to see those dogs work and hear it as well as see.
