I'm trying to find someone to give me a ballpark figure on Pinzgauer cattle. All the animals I see are show quality which ,I think , would make them very expensive. Any help?

No, but I too, find them really attractive. If you find any more info, post it here.

I've seen them for sell and they really aren't priced too bad compared to some other breeds, depending on quality. I would expect to pay less than $2000 a head for decent animals. Definitely less if not show quality. A lot of people start them as show calves around here because there isn't much competition in them and they can get a calf that will do ok for a lot less than that would spend for a winning calf in a more mainstream breed.
